The world's largest consumer products company attached its branding to car washes three years ago. Now it wants to open hundreds of franchised Tide Dry Cleaners

You must have noticed all the boarded-up restaurants along the highways and streets of Ontario. And nearby, at every one of those locations a shiny new coffee shop, part of a huge Canadian chain. Dry cleaners and greenwashing

A sign of things to come? NYC is challenging "environment-friendly" dry cleaners that use Perc. Check out this article from the New York Times.

New York City doesn’t lack for dry cleaners, but many customers these days want their clothes not only clean but processed with environmentally sound practices. A bill pending in the City Council seeks to help consumers identify environmentally responsible dry cleaners, but some advocacy groups say the legislation would not go far enough.
